Important : This tool should only be used on Yale 1000/1500 series lock cylinders. It is designed with a specific structure that only fits these locks. The Topolino decoder consists of a blade with 6 pins arranged in a specific order. Do not tighten or manipulate the bolts, as this may impair the tool's opening capabilities.

Preparing and resetting the pins:

Insert the Topolino blade into the reset cap, the two arrows should match their positions (watch the video). Move the slider back. Reset with the reset hex key ALL 6 pins (push them all the way in). Move the slider forward. The decoder is ready to use.

General information about the Topolino decoder:

There is no such thing as a "one-size-fits-all tool." A universal tool cannot exist with this type of tool. The operator must know the lock cylinder they are trying to open, so locksmith knowledge is required.

These lock picking tools work WITHOUT FORCE. You apply a medium amount of tension and the tool will position each of the lock cylinder pins at a specific height. This happens until it "adopts" the position corresponding to that of the original key. In this way, the key profile is obtained. At this point, you have a complete double-bit profile capable of opening and closing the lock exactly like the original key.
